Why you need to make this One Bowl Choc Chip Banana Bread Recipe

It's got HEAPS of chocolate in it
Sorry but I hardly see the point in banana bread with out choc chips (no I actually do but the addition of chocolate is just 10x better). I've tried so many choc chip banana bread recipes that just don't have enough chocolate in them. So I've doubled up in this recipe and have no regrets.

    Its really EASY to make
I've already said this like 3 times now but it is genuinely a super easy recipe. Baking is not my strongest area of expertise and this is about as straight forward as it gets.

    We use SIMPLE ingredients
Now obviously due to intolerances and allergies sometimes more unique ingredients are required in baking. Unless you're gluten intolerant you can most likely still enjoy this recipe. But my point is there's no fancy ingredients needed. We've just got the essentials and it probably tastes better than the fancier banana breads.

Ingredients for One Bowl Choc Chip Banana Bread

    • Ripe Banana
    • Salted Butter
    • Egg
    • Dark Choc Chips
    • Bicarb Soda
    • Vanilla
    • Plain Flour
    • Caster Sugar
    • Salt

    See recipe card for quantities.

    Instructions

    Mash the bananas

Add the rest of the ingredients

    Fold in the chocolate chips

Transfer to baking tin and bake

Hint: To make the best banana bread, weigh your bananas to exactly 300g instead of just grabbing 3 bananas. 3 bananas will still work fine but weighing it exactly will ensure it will be extra fabulous and delicious!

    Storage

Store in the fridge for up to 5 - 6 days. You can also slice it up and freeze it in slices. Then thaw and toast it when it's time to enjoy!
