Hint:
Work in Batches: Fry the olives in batches to prevent overcrowding in the oil, which can result in uneven cooking and soggy coating.

Variations
- Herb-infused Batter: Add chopped fresh herbs like parsley or thyme to the batter for a fragrant and flavorful twist.
- Cheese Coating: Mix grated Parmesan cheese with the panko crumbs for an extra cheesy crust.
- Spicy Mayo Dip: Elevate your dipping experience by mixing mayo with a splash of hot sauce or sriracha for a spicy kick.

FAQ
Yes, you can coat the olives and refrigerate them for up to a few hours before frying. Just ensure they are well-covered to prevent them from drying out.
While baking may yield a different texture, you can certainly try it. Preheat your oven to 200Β°C and bake the coated olives on a parchment-lined baking sheet for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Besides mayo or aioli, you can serve them with marinara sauce, tzatziki, or a balsamic reduction for a variety of flavour profiles.
